PACIFICA Wellington Central Branch are delighted to offer delegates the Katharine Jermyn Hall accommodation package (the KJ Hall Package).

 

The KJ Hall package costs $136 for 2-nights accommodation which includes:

• a single room with a single bed, wardrobe, drawers, wall heater, desk and chair

• fresh bed linen, duvet, pillow case, 1x towel and a room with a view

• breakfast (Saturday and Sunday morning)

• wireless internet available throughout KJ Hall  

• free wi-fi access

• shared communal bathrooms, showers and toilets (on each level)

• shared kitchenette and living spaces to hang out 

• bus transport (at no cost) between KJ Hall and the conference venues at rostered times

• personal access cards be collected on first day of conference, 15 February 2019 from 2:00pm.

The package also provides delegates with complimentary access to:

• a fully equipped gymnasium

• a movie room (large wide screen)

• recreation room (ground floor) with ping pong and pool table

• a telephone is available on every floor, providing free local calls within Wellington

• communal ground floor areas where tea and coffee utilities are available 24/7 - with nice comfy lounge seats to sit on and chat the night away

• shared living spaces | large break out rooms | music room 

• laundry utilities | includes coin-operated washing machines and dryers, ironing equipment and tubs for hand-washing

If you would like to add on a few extra prior to 15 February this can be arranged (but not after 17 February)  The rate is $69 per night.The KJ Hall package provides the perfect opportunity for delegates to engage and network together during conference. We are encouraging all our delegates to sign up for the KJ Hall package.

KJ Hall is located at 100 Boulcott Street, Wellington, near the top of the Terrace. It is a light 5-minute walk to Lambton Quay. A 10-15 minute walk up the Terrace to Salamanca drive, then on to Kelburn Parade where Victoria University is.

Alternative Accommodation Options

​

For those who do not wish to be accommodated at KJ Hall but want to be accommodated nearby, we would recommend the Novotel, the James Cook or The Quest (all on The Terrace) near KJ Hall. 

 

The price however will be somewhere in the vicinity of $250+/night, dependent upon how early you book your accommodation.  We would encourage you to book your accommodation for conference now if you are intending in staying at alternative accommodation.
